Our Sexual Harassment: Employees training course helps workers understand and prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. It's the employer's responsibility to provide a workplace protected from health and safety hazards to the greatest extent possible — and while physical hazards often get the most attention, emotional toxicity can be just as harmful. Many employees, colleagues, and peers may be subjected to workplace harassment at some point. While the EEOC addresses many forms of harassment with the same oversight and enforcement, this 20-minute program focuses specifically on sexual harassment, helping employees gain insight and empathy for their peers, identify toxic behavior, and work together to create a healthier work environment. Available in English and Spanish.

  • Workplace Violence Prevention Training — covers recognizing warning signs and responding to threatening or violent behavior, a natural companion to a complete workplace behavior and conduct program.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this training required by law?

Sexual harassment training is legally required annually in several states — including California, New York, Illinois, and Connecticut — and is considered a best practice everywhere else under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which applies to employers with 15 or more employees. Requirements vary by state, so check your state's specific mandates for frequency and content requirements.

What's the difference between this course and the Managers version?

This course is written for the general employee audience — recognizing harassment, understanding its effects, and knowing how to report it. The Managers version covers the same foundation plus the additional duties, obligations, and legal responsibilities supervisors and managers have in preventing and responding to harassment complaints.

Is this training compliant with California's AB1825 requirements?

This course includes AB1825 supplemental documents to help support California compliance. However, California law (AB1825/SB1343) specifically requires interactive training with a minimum duration — 1 hour for employees and 2 hours for supervisors — so California employers should verify this course meets the state's specific interactive training requirements before relying on it alone for compliance.

How often should this training be repeated?

Many states with mandatory requirements call for annual or biennial training, and it's widely considered best practice to repeat this training annually even where not legally required, along with training all new hires during onboarding.

Does this subscription automatically renew?

Yes. This is a prepaid subscription that automatically renews at the end of each term at the then-current price unless canceled. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account portal.

What's the difference between Streaming, MP4, USB, and DVD?

Streaming gives you instant online access from any device — no download required. MP4 is a one-time download you host on your own platform such as an LMS, file server, or SharePoint. USB and DVD are physical media shipped to you, best for classroom training where internet access is limited or unavailable.

If I purchase the USB, can I copy the video to share with others?

No. The video on the USB is encrypted and licensed to only be played from the USB. It must be inserted in your computer for it to play.

What documentation is provided for compliance recordkeeping?

The kit includes a compliance manual, employee quiz and answer key, completion certificates, wallet/ID cards, an attendance log, a training outline, and sexual harassment and AB1825 supplemental documents — everything needed to document that training was completed.
