Our Safety Orientation (General Version) training course provides new employees with an essential introduction to workplace safety — building the right safety attitude and raising awareness of common hazards before they start their first day on the job. Workplaces have many areas where hazards or possible hazards are present, and too often employees go through the motions without staying alert to their surroundings. Safety in the workplace starts with having the right attitude and taking the right steps to prevent incidents. This 21-minute program is designed to make new workers aware of some of the most common hazards they may encounter on the job, with introductory coverage of each topic to set them on the path toward a safe and healthy workday. Note that additional, more in-depth training is recommended for many of the specific topics introduced in this course. Available in English and Spanish.
