Our Hearing Conservation training course helps employees understand the risks of occupational noise exposure and how to protect their hearing in compliance with OSHA Standards 29 CFR 1910.95 (general industry) and 1926.52 and .101 (construction). The CDC estimates that 22 million workers are exposed to potentially damaging noise levels at work each year. Whether you work at a sports venue, on an airport tarmac, or operate a jackhammer or saw, noise-induced hearing loss is entirely preventable. Warning signs include ringing or humming in the ears after leaving work, difficulty hearing a coworker an arm's length away, or temporary hearing loss after a shift. This 26-minute program covers how the ear works, types and effects of hearing loss, evaluating noise exposure levels, and what an effective hearing conservation program looks like.
