Our Electrical Safety training course helps employees understand how electricity works, recognize electrical hazards, and apply safe practices when working with or near electricity in compliance with OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1926 Subpart K. Electricity is so essential to everyday life that its dangers are easily overlooked — yet electrical hazards cause thousands of workplace injuries and hundreds of deaths each year. Workers in construction, manufacturing, and industrial settings face particular risks from shock, electrocution, arc flash, and fire. This 21-minute program covers electrical fundamentals, grounding, shock prevention, PPE, lockout/tagout, and what to do in an electrical emergency. Available in English and Spanish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this training satisfy OSHA requirements?

Yes. This course is compliant with OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1926 Subpart K — Electrical (Construction). It also covers general electrical safety principles applicable to general industry settings. Please note that workers performing specific electrical tasks such as qualified electrical work may require additional specialized training beyond this awareness-level course depending on the nature of their work.

Does this course cover Lockout/Tagout in detail?

This course includes an overview of Lockout/Tagout and hazardous energy control as part of a comprehensive electrical safety foundation. For workers who are directly responsible for performing LOTO procedures — such as authorized employees who service and maintain equipment — we recommend our dedicated Lockout/Tagout course, which covers OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 in full detail including procedures, equipment standards, and special situations.

Does this subscription automatically renew?

Yes. This is a prepaid subscription that automatically renews at the end of each term at the then-current price unless canceled. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account portal.

What's the difference between Streaming, MP4, USB, and DVD?

Streaming gives you instant online access from any device — no download required. MP4 is a one-time download you host on your own platform such as an LMS, file server, or SharePoint. USB and DVD are physical media shipped to you, best for classroom training where internet access is limited or unavailable.

If I purchase the USB, can I copy the video to share with others?

No. The video on the USB is encrypted and licensed to only be played from the USB. It must be inserted in your computer for it to play.

What documentation is provided for compliance recordkeeping?

The kit includes a compliance manual, employee quiz and answer key, completion certificates, wallet/ID cards, an attendance log, a training outline, and electrical safety supplemental printouts — everything needed to document that training was completed and maintain OSHA compliance records.

How do I access the Documentation on the DVD?

You will need to access the DVD with a computer so you can browse to the Documentation folder.
