Our Asbestos Safety training course helps employees understand the hazards of asbestos exposure and how to protect themselves in compliance with OSHA Standards 29 CFR 1910.1001 (general industry) and 29 CFR 1926.1101 (construction). Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral fiber used extensively in building materials and construction due to its fire resistance, durability, and insulating properties. While it remains in many older buildings and structures, disturbing asbestos-containing materials can release fibers that — when inhaled — build up in the body over time and cause serious health effects including lung damage and cancer.
