Every year workers across the U.S. suffer from injuries sustained from unguarded or inadequately guarded moving machine parts. Employee exposure to such hazards is prevalent in many workplaces. Amputations, crushed hands and arms, lacerations, abrasions and blindness are just a few of the possible injuries created by moving machine parts. Amputation is one of the most severe and crippling types of workplace injuries and usually results in permanent disability.

It is estimated that approximately 18,000 injuries and over 800 deaths occur each year among workers who operate and maintain machinery. It’s important that your workers understand the importance and fundamentals of machine safeguarding. This training will cover the information needed to comply with the OSHA standard.
