Amputation is one of the most severe and crippling types of workplace injuries and usually results in permanent disability.It is estimated that approximately 18,000 injuries and over 800 deaths occur each year among workers who operate and maintain machinery. It's important that your workers understand the importance and fundamentals of machine safeguarding. This training will cover the information needed to comply with the OSHA standard.Your employees will learn about machine parts, functions, or processes which that could cause injury and how they should be safeguarded. Safeguarding is also required when the operation of a machine or accidental contact with it can injure the operator or others in the vicinity. Course Outcomes
After completing this training, workers will be certified in 29 CFR 1910.133 & .147, Subpart O & 1926 Subpart I and should be able to apply this standard rule on machine safeguarding in the workplace.
