OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) SDS Stations

All employees, under the HAZCOM Standard and OSHA Right to Know Law, have the right to know about hazardous chemicals they work with and are exposed to in the workplace, as well as what methods they can use to protect themselves. In simple terms, all employees have the right to know and right to understand their workplace hazards and risks.

To comply with this requirement, employees must be trained on how to handle chemical workplace hazards, a workplace-wide list of current hazardous chemicals must be kept, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) must be readily available for all employees to access detailed information about each chemical hazard.
